This week, Bart Brands gives his first presentation as Ian McHarg Senior Design Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. Over the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years, Bart will lead an innovative design course called ‘The Future of Death’. In this course, Bart can share his wide-range of experience with cemetery design with the ambitious students of Penn. The studio focusses on the potentials of death and how they can address the global challenges of the future.
