karres+brands, in collaboration with ADEPT and Transsolar, has been selected as one of twelve teams for the Oberbillwerder urban design competition in Hamburg.

The highly ambitious competition counts a 120 hectares planning area and will in the future include 6,000 – 8,000 housing units and office space for 5,000 jobs. The focus is to create an attractive framework for an urban life in green surroundings.
