The Municipality of Breda has endorsed our development vision for 'BREAD Breda' and so we begin the task of further developing the urban layout plan and public space plans.
The site's industrial heritage is the starting point of the new urban plan with a clear demarcation of the factory site serving as the inspiration for a constellation of new building volumes. The strategic positioning of these building blocks creates a variety of public spaces, each with its own function, atmosphere, identity and intimacy.

The green park structure of the adjacent 'Blossem' development plan will be extended up to and around BREAD Breda, this green buffer zone offers a number of characterful park spaces and recreation opportunities. In collaboration with Studio Ninedots, we are working on this special new neighborhood where new approaches to collectivity, (nature) inclusion, circularity, climate adaptation, water storage and living in a green environment come together.
