This spring, founding partner Bart Brands will join the Landscape Architecture Department at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University as a visiting professor. Bart, who is also a Professor h.c. at the Detmolder Schule of Gestaltung in Germany, has made significant contributions to the Core II Design Studio since its inception in 2020. This year, he will lead an intensive workshop for the students focused on burial rituals. The workshop builds on the ongoing design research by Karres and Brands into the 'future of cemeteries'.
